The second weekend, from the 30 March - 1 April, went to Swinbure in Harrismiths. This time our main purpose was to do hiking.
As you can see did the Bald Ibis trials. Did a 12km hike not the Saturday, which took us about 3 hours. Then on the Sunday did a much harder 13km hike so took us about 4 hours. The views were absolutely amazing!!! Could just see mountains and fields for miles!!
We stayed in a big barn, which was really cool, except that we had a "friend" ie rat

Over the long Easter weekend went camping at Roc 'n Rope Adventures in Watervalboven. Although we did do a bit of hiking (once again), our main purpose for going was to do some rock climbing. There are 521 climbs that you can do there (of course we didn't do all of them!) The climbs are ranked on a scale of 1-34. I got up to 15, which is not bad considering that it was my first time and the girls that had done it before only got to 16! (the guys got to 18). Had loads of fun, although my knees are quite bruised and woke up on Saturday morning with a rash all over my legs!! It also rained a bit, but was not to bad. Heres some photos of me in action and of the view.... once again stunning views with no cars or houses in sight!
